Intro
The SMART Response interactive response system is an assessment tool that enhances learning. It facilitates summative and formative assessment by enabling you to pose a question before, during or after a lesson to find out whether students are on track. You can use the feedback to help shape the rest of your lesson.
But really, it is a cool form factor LCD + QWERTY keyboard, and a hackable micro controller (ATmega128RFA).
Opening it up
- Find the joint on the edge and use a spludger or guitar pick to pop off the grey bezel. Work your way around to free the clips.
- Starting at the power button, force the spludger in between the lower and top case. This applies pressure to separate the top and bottom case.
- Use a small screwdriver to push in the plastic retainers at the larger openings. There are 2 on each edge, closest to the corners.
- The case should start to pop apart as you apply pressure inside each opening and pry downward.
- Work your way around, each of the 8 clip openings.
Your adventure begins!
