LCDproc installer Mac OS X

I have created an LCDproc installer for Mac OS X. It is built for G3, G4 or G5 PowerPC Macs, but I should have an Intel build available soon. Intel Macs will not be able to use it. LCDproc gets installed into /usr/local/. A start-up script is included in /Library/StartUpItems/LCDproc. It is pre-configured for the Mac OS X USB LCD Kit. Once you install, just restart as instructed and LCDproc should be running on your Mac OS X USB LCD Kit. If you don't have the Mac OS X USB LCD Kit, you can edit the configuration file in /usr/local/etc/LCDd.conf

Download the Mac OS X PowerPC LCDproc installer.

Hi, thank you for your work. I'm waiting for Intel MacOS version of LCDproc installer. I am using an picoLCD 4x20 from Mini-Box.com and I would like to make it work on Tiger MacOS too.

I would be happy to walk you through the steps to compile it. I don;t have convenient access to an intel mac right now. Let me know if you want to give it a try.

Hi, I'm new to using LCDproc. I downloaded your LCDproc installer, and your growl plugin. I've got them both installed, but am very green when it comes to understanding the unix etc side of mac os. Very proficient in OS X though.

When I launch growl prefs, I'm able to assign the display to use your growlLCDproc profile, but It says unable to connect to server. I have no idea how to go about configuring LCDproc or even finding out what the device ID is of my VFD. If you have the time and patience to walk me through any of the setup I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading my long message. :)
